Hi. My name is Teacher Wincy Aguilar. I’m a graduate of Bachelor of Elementary Education from Ramon Magsaysay Technological University. I also passed the Licensure Examination for teachers. I have been teaching as an online English teacher for more than a year already and it helps me a lot on how to handle different kinds of kids when it comes to their learning levels.My hobby is making learning activities for my daughter, by doing this I just have to explain what to do and how to do it and the rest is up to her on how she can answer the questions correctly. Monitoring her progress is really a job well done for me. Encouraging one’s student is the best we can do to help them get to their goals.My area of expertise is pronunciation, by teaching my students to read I have to be able to teach them the correct pronunciation of every word. Patience is very important when teaching this because people learn at all different levels. If I have to pronounce something ten times until the student learn, I will, that’s just part of being a teacher. And when I’m facing with a challenging behavior, I need to stay calm and patient and not lose my temper.My teaching philosophy is that education comes from the experience of the child. I cannot let my students to just listen about the facts from the books, I want her to teach and experience it. Like for example in Science class, as a teacher I should let my students test their ideas by active experimentation. I want them to learn from their experiences.
