I am a native South African whom is passionate about people. I am a highly skilled Online Tutor with a Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology as well as a Diploma in Journalism and a 140 hour TEFL Certificate.With over a decade of experience in various fields both in-person and online, I have developed the knowledge and gained the experience to provide an overall balanced teaching approach to my students. My previous roles have strengthened my capabilities in communication and leadership including a keen attention to detail and accuracy. I have worked with individuals of all age groups and understand the unique needs of individuals and how important it is to create an environment that is both nurturing and challenging for them.I believe that the key to being a successful teacher is preparation. I plan every lesson carefully and make sure that I am well-prepared for the upcoming lesson. I also believe in giving my best in the lesson and I always aim to help my students to achieve their best.I am a true believer that the journey of learning never ends and creating a learning experience is key. I believe that a teacher can make a difference to a student’s life, and I want to ensure that I am that difference.As person who values and practices discipline, empathy and respect, I am certain that I can be a positive role model to my students and provide them with good behavioural examples that they can practice when learning and socializing with others.In my free time, I love to travel and spend time with family. I also enjoy reading, listening to music and trying out different cuisines and learning about other cultures. I have taken to yoga and meditation which I find keeps me balanced and focused.Unlocking the knowledge to speak more than one language is a crucial step for anyone’s personal development as it facilitates learning that can lead to a meaningful impact in one’s life.
