"Hi! I'm teacher Nola! I'm 30 years old and I am the teacher you have been looking for!I grew up with my mother tongue being Afrikaans, and learning how to read, write and speak English since I was a little girl. So I too, am bilingual. After high school I got a job working as an intern at a little school in my country. From there I have accumulated 10 years of in-classroom teaching experience and I have some experience teaching online too. I majored in Early Childhood Development when I studied and completed my Bachelor of Education Degree. I have also completed my Level 5 TEFL certificate in the hopes of maybe one day teaching abroad. When I teach, I am patient and I am kind and I focus on making my students feel safe and loved. This, I feel, makes it easier to remember what you have learned.My area of expertise is building vocabulary and pronunciation, to help you communicate in the ever growing global language, that is English. I believe the best way to learn is through play and I always aim to make learning as fun as possible. Are you ready to have fun?"
