Hi my name is Janine van der Merwe and I live in South Africa.I am a certified TEFL and TESOL teacher. I have 4 years of classroom teaching experience and working with students from different age groups. I am 27 years old and have a big passion for teaching and working with students.
I feel online teaching is the new future and helps to connect different people and cultures all over the world. I always give my everything to make sure my students feel comfortable and want to participate in class.
Keeping a light and trustworthy atmosphere is very important and making sure everyone is always on the same page as I am.
Being a teacher is more than just a pay check or teaching students, its about the love you have for working with people, being able to share your knowledge and helping others to achieve their goals and success. Teachers are your home away from home and that is what I always try to be for my students, making them laugh, but also feel they matter and that they can do anything if they put their mind to it.
I always love what I do and will make sure the task is complete. I am a people's person and have good communication skills. I am looking forward to working with you and starting a new journey together.
