Hello! My name is Teacher Carla.I graduated from the University of Rizal System with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. I am a Licensed Professional Teacher and a TESOL holder too. I’ve been teaching English to non native English speakers for almost a year. My hobbies are watching movies, anime and dramas. I also love playing sports and singing. When I am teaching, I incorporate songs and some interactive games to make the class more fun.I’ve been passionate about teaching children and seeing their smiles and expressions while learning English makes me happy. Moreover, having adult students achieve their language goal is also a privilege for me to be a part of it. Everyone has a unique learning style, and it’s my job to adapt my teaching approach to meet each student’s needs. My teaching style is focused on building a strong foundation of knowledge and then building upon it to help students reach their full potential. I believe that practice and reinforcement are key to mastering any subject, and I always provide plenty of opportunities for students to practice what they’ve learned.I also like to incorporate real-world examples and applications into my lessons to help students see the relevance and practicality of their learning. Time management skills, having a strong work ethic, patience, empathy and possessing the knowledge and adaptability needed to employ a variety of teaching modes and methods are some of my skills. Children English, Conversation, Writing and Reading are my area of expertise. Teaching English is one of the things I enjoyed the most. It gives me the opportunity to share my knowledge and be able to know the culture of others. It’s not only about grammar or making better sentences but it is also about chances to speak up and to be heard by others. While I’ve always felt driven to be an elementary school educator, the joy I felt from facilitating the growth and development of various students only reaffirmed my passion. Although I’ll continue to hone my teaching skills as an online English teacher, I believe that my enthusiasm, positive attitude, and virtual experience working with the students will make me an excellent educator. I’m passionate about forging relationships with students that build a sense of confidence and enable them to grow as learners and better individuals that can communicate to others. I look forward to a career where I can help shape young minds and make a difference in the lives of different students regardless of their nationality.It’s a rewarding feeling when I see that my students are enjoying learning English in class and use it in their daily lives or in any way that can help them because my teaching Philosophy is “Enjoying while learning”.
