“PERFECT TIME WILL COME”I am Marianne M. Macasero, graduated from the University of Cebu- Banilad Campus, finished a degree of Bachelor of Secondary Education- Major in English. And I have a lot of personal and professional goals in life. I once a dreamer of becoming a teacher and also a selfbeliever. I thought of pursuing teaching profession was not an easy job. But I had this goal to follow my passion for I want to become more than just a teacher but also an influencer to the extent that I want to shape students to become more competent and at the same time humble with their capabilities. And I also want to touch student’s life. Since I was a child, I always portray the act of being a teacher. And I had this thought that dreams will be forever uncertain not until I achieved it. Moreover, following my heart’s desire to become one, I took my Bachelor’s Degree and had countless trainings, experiences and challenges when it comes to teaching. But there’s one thing I’m proud of, and that is I was able to conquer those. In relation to that, I experienced teaching from both public and private school way back my Internship times. And I was able to face countless struggles. Facing students with different personalities and intelligences. Despite of that, I was able to handle it by using some pedagogical approaches in my class to cater students’ different abilities and that is employing differentiated activities to reach the goal to have effective and meaningful activities in class. Furthermore, the same goes in my life. I’ve been through a lot of tough times even until now but I always manage it with fierce and courage that I can get through everything. I always put in mind and admit that obstacles are frightful things but I should not be frightened. Because I believe I can pull myself to the top at the perfect time. With my experiences and challenges in life, I’ve realized that it’s not about seeing things as it is but it’s about seeing it differently. Looking to the silver lining of everything is the key to success.
