Hi, I am MR. Sunday and I started in the field of psychology graduating in 2014 from the University of Western Cape(UWC), I then worked for a year and obtain my Counseling license as a trauma counselor in 2015 from the HPCSA, in which I worked at many primary and high Schools. I then went on to study teaching and worked at a High School for a year, and I obtained a PGCE in education and teaching in 2017 from the University of South Africa.I have expertise in classroom maintenance, verbal and nonverbal communication, pronunciation(intonation), grammar, speaking, reading and writing skills, vocabulary use, listening tasks, and giving homework and assignments. Additionally, I have expertise in Business English for work(Email writing, project management meetings and general discussions, etc.), Conventional English, Travel English, psychological English, and conversational English. I also am skilled in the European Framework (CEFR), and IELTS English, in which I prepare students for Examinations, and testing skills both written and verbal.I have 3 years of teaching experience online with ESL students, 1 year of experience as a High School teacher, and a year of counseling experience.I work in a collaborative relationship with students, and I note down all the corrections and then I give them their key areas of focus for improvement.Personally, I quite like exercise and learning about health, technology, games and also learning about other places and destinations. I integrate these things into my collaborative way of teaching to make lessons more fun and engaging and also to break the ice between me and my students.I view teaching as a process in which student and teacher are in a relationship with language and communication, and I like to make it comfortable for students to learn in a variety of ways, by using visual and auditory aids, listening, speaking, writing, reading, illustrating and last but not least having fun!So come join me and experience the fun world of English in a fun and understandable way.
