I'm Novien Nicole Reyes with a degree of Bachelor of Elementary Education. I have less than a year of teaching experience. I used to be an assistant or volunteer teacher in one of the public schools here in the Philippines and a seasonal esl teacher.Im quite interested about the history and culture of my country and other countries, and that's the reason why I'm fond of watching historical drama. Since I had the opportunity to be an esl teacher of korean and japanese students, I tend to ask more about their culture in relation to the discussion and to practice their conversational skill as well. I was like a guide on the side for the students when I handled vocabulary, reading comprehension, speaking skills, and grammar. I guided them first with what are the things needed to know, let them practice, allow them to explore and to let them have their own opinion and ideas with the proper guidance. As I believed that all students are diversed. So i must have this open mindedness and understanding as they are different in terms of culture, their learning style, different backgrounds and walks in life.
