Hi! I'm Teacher Ellen. I took up Bachelor in Broadcast Communication at Polytechnic University of the Philippines.

English books or movies, and my family of 5 (which includes an adorable dog) occupy most of my leisure time. Watching movies is a great and entertaining hobby, but I believe that reading books is more powerful. It widens your imagination, sharpens your memory, and generally makes you more knowledgeable. It allows you to explore different places at no cost, without having to leave where you are; all you need is your imagination. As they say, "Read today, lead tomorrow." My love of reading has been very useful throughout my teaching career as I was able to share a lot of insights and ideas to my students because of it.

I've been teaching English to Japanese and Koreans of various ages for more than a year. The youngest I've taught was 7 years old while the oldest was 65. I'm very happy to say that my students were appreciative of the way I teach. They enjoyed my enthusiasm, patience, and encouraging words. I always do my best to deliver interesting, exciting, and satisfactory classes, making sure that my students truly benefit from them.

I often tell them that learning English doesn't have to be that difficult and boring. Regular exposure to the language is the key. Some enjoyable ways to achieve such are reading English books, listening to English songs, and watching English movies.
