Hello! I am Romnick Padilla but you can call me Rom. I am 30 years old.In terms of my personal interests or hobbies, I love watching movies during my free time and read articles to enhance further my English skills. I also like playing mobile games to relax my mind, learning new languages is also one of my interests at this time, and I am into socializing which I don't just gain friends but also I improve my communications skills. Furthermore, I love singing, dancing, and drawing. In terms of my professional aspects or qualifications. I took up Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English at Urdaneta City University. Luckily, all of my efforts and sacrifices were paid off because I am now a licensed English teacher. In addition, I also got my TESOL certificate in 2019. My next dream is to ace the IELTS exam. I have been teaching English online for almost four years. Experience in teaching different nationalities like Chinese and Japanese is hard but exciting. It taught me to become a well-rounded teacher because I can now teach kids and adults. It also taught me how to adjust my teaching styles depending on the student's level and interests. Having said, teaching kids is also more quite challenging than teaching adults. In order to maintain kids' attention or interest to the lesson, you need to use different styles like using toys or props, and teaching aids. You need to do games which you must incorporate the lesson materials so kids would enjoy the lessons. Kids' attention spans are quit short so be flexible to adjust to their needs and interests. Whereas, teaching adults doesn't require too much energy but requires proper correction and professionalism. Adult students prefer to be corrected of their mistakes. Their focus is more on developing their English skills. I am very devoted at helping my students achieve their goals like learning English, so, I want to stay longer in the teaching field.Throughout my career, I have been recognized for my work ethic, effectiveness, and enthusiasm. I also attended different training on my jobs so I can adapt to the changing environment of teaching specifically online platforms. I am greatly passionate about my profession. I believe that I am meant for this kind of job.
